Liquid Biopsy Sample Collection Considerations
There are a few factors which should be considered in relation to sample quality for LBx samples. Here is a partial list.
Status of the donor:
- Patient Dehydration (when possible, donors should drink a glass of water within 4 hr of blood donation)
- Treatment Regime (when possible, allow at least seven days washout for infused cytotoxic therapy. For hormonal and immunotherapies administered orally, when possible, collect blood before daily dosage.)
- General health of patient
