Agile Product Ownership in a Nutshell

Course Material for Scrum Product Owner Training – Agile Pain Relief

My Takeaways:

  1. Communication between PO, development team, and stakeholders is central to effective Agile development.
  2. The importance of no. Do not be afraid to murder your darlings.
  3. Customer value (i.e. outcome should be paramount). Getting to the lag phase of development is what matters, regardless of the output.
  4. A steady, predictable output allows better, more accurate estimation of time to feature delivery.
  5. Time spent upfront in discussing with stakeholders and articulating the user story can help the output drive the inteded outcome.
