A Productive Visit

TL;DR:

Choose a thing, show up and be with it for at least a breath, then decide how to engage.

Here are some helpful steps from Kourosh:

Quote

  1. Choose some work or play.
  2. Be with it
  3. Preferably with distractions set aside
  4. For at least a single deep breath of time
  5. Optionally, nudge the work forward
  6. Optionally, if it’s not done, schedule a next visit

Personal thoughts

I recently came across a blog post from Kourosh Dini which mentions the topic of productivity “visits”. For me this is a great stategy to get started, particularly on a task where I do not know where or how to start.
