# The Hats
## White Hat
This is the information that is known or needed. When wearing this hat, think about facts and only the facts.
## Yellow Hat
Yellow symbolizes brightness and optimism. When wearing this hat think about positives. What is the value/benefit?
## Black Hat
Black symbolizes risk difficulties and problems. When wearing this hat, take a risk management approach. Can become very heavy if overused.
## Red Hat
Red symbolizes emotionality. When wearing this hat, explore feelings, hunches, and intuition. Think about likes, dislikes, love, and hate.
## Green Hat
Green symbolizes creativity. When wearing this hat, think of the possibilities. What alternatives exist, are there any new ideas?
## Blue Hat
Blue symbolizes a freeze to be retrospective about the process of wearing hats. If things go off the rails, this is a way to stop and come back to task.
